Learn a little more about Jenny, in our Q&A:

Where are you from?

I am from the rural farming town of Ashley, ND. It is a small german-russian community with a population of around 700. I actually learned to speak some german from working at the nursing home there. I’m really proud of my german roots and I never miss an opportunity to talk about the delicacy of kuchen.

What are you studying?

My course of study is Business Administration. While I worked as an administrative part-time student at John Deere Electronic Solutions, I had the opportunity to work with different hourly reports and metrics. I had the most fun finding solutions to inaccuracy in the data I worked with. I really enjoyed knowing where the data came from and how it would ultimately be used. It also taught me that my manager’s decisions were only as good as the data he based them off of. This helped me see a need for quality data and sparked an interest in me for data analytics.

What do you enjoy about Fargo?

I absolutely love Fargo for it’s large variety of coffee shops! I am an avid coffee-drinker and I love socializing so the local shops are my go-to. Fargo also has an incredible community. I have found some great mentors, wonderful ministries, and some of my best friends after moving here.

What do you hate about Fargo? 😉

haha the WIND! the horrid wind!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love running, reading, painting, and spending time with my family. I have 3 nephews and a niece which keep me on my toes when I need a little fun.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

I have a twin sister, Jessica. We grew up doing everything together, yet we are as different as they come. She is also a diesel mechanic, which I think is the coolest thing. I’ll drive a tractor, but I sure don’t know how to fix one.
